Could you please tell me what you were pushing stock? Cause I dynoed and I got 284.56 HP and 245.89 torque

Did you actually loose HP by installing all the mods?

I didnt get a stock dyno. You may of been on a diffrent kind of dyno and thats why your stock numbers were that high. Some dynos give more HP and TQ then other types.

Hey Sam, what fuel are you using in the UAE? in Kuwait we're using (98 RON / 93 AKI) fuel, i wonder how the e-tune would be from GTM, Sam told me that i should get something between 15 to 23 rwhp on the VQ35HR engine, the G37 engine should make 10rwhp more than my 2008 G35 sedan engine, i'm still waiting for my UpRev cable to arrive so i can download the ROM and send it to Sam@GTM, the nearest UpRev tuner is in another country, so if i want to go to the nearest tuner i'll have to leave to a nearby country to get it tuned, that's why i can only get my car tuned thru e-mail, there will be a lot of dyno runs and data logging.

I really wish to come, not only for tuning, but for a lot of reasons also, but 12 hours driving is not easy, not to mention paying for hotels and some other stuff, i would come when i have the money, because i've saved some cash for GTM VB upgrade, without core charge, so i get to keep my OE VB and get GTM VB, and i'll get it in a week or two, so wait for my review, as for tuning, once i upgrade for tuner version i'll ask a friend of mine to tune my car, he's a pro tuner, also i could ask the Australian guy to do it for me.

BTW i need a set of H&R 15mm or 20mm spacers so i can install the coupe BBK on my stock rims, do you know if i only need spacers for front wheels or for all wheel? And where can i get them?

Thanks.

Call me dumb, but all these terms being thrown around that I'm unfamiliar with. Forgive me. When you guys say, "Get tuned" does that require installing upgraded components (i.e. air intake, exhaust, etc)?

The gist of my inquiry is to find out what I need to do to get a few more HPs and torque out of my engine, without hurting the factory settings.

A tune is adjusting the ECU (cars computer)
You can get a tune on stock and see dyno wise and feel the difference, but with MODS like Test Pipes (these are pipes replacing/deleting the catalyst converters - our biggest exhaust bottleneck) or Hi-flow cats (catalyst but non restrictive - a bit more enviro safe) and say a Cold Air Intake like Stillen's or Injen's, and you'll see some nice gains .

This is interesting since if we all post dynos with our MODS using UpRev we can do the math eventually to see whats the best MOD setup for most power gains.
I'm going to scheduling in my tune in coming weeks for April 2nd Friday. I'll post up following Saturday my dyno. I'm stock with Stillen GEN2 intake and Berk Hi-Flow cats.

But keep in mind a tune found out by the dealership is a total engine warranty void. But there are ways to avoid issues.

Bump! post some more uprev numbers and charts. I spoke to Adam whose a authorized tuner/dealer in Long Island, NY. He did say he can make the car feel totally different like come alive, but numbers don't expect much, 7-8 minimum 20 max. I have r2c intakes stillen pulley tanabe mufflers and HFC's so I'm skeptical but may get tuned next week for the hell of it i was quoted $600 for everything.

I'm sorry and guilty for not following my date. I had to get coilovers before I got the tune. I'll be doing mine now at the end of next month for sure!

Sorry guys, still going to do this but postponed a bit. Since I got my coilovers its going to cost me another $800.00 to complete my suspension and my living room TV just died. I have to buy still front camber arms, pay for installation, then go get a special alignment.

The tune can wait since currently I'm eating tires a little faster and need to complete my suspension mod.

Ill get this in the coming months.

Anyone does upRev have a tune module out now?...
