I'm curious. Can the wood be removed from the trim piece leaving Washi trim color under it? Or do you have to replace all the pieces with new ones?

No. You either have washi or wood. Only way is if someone stuck the wood aftermarket kit on it. You would have to take the wood out and replace with washi or vise versa.

Once you have the new pieces to install, there are other DIY for the dash pieces on the forum somewhere.

Ivoidwarrenties, that has nothing to do with what i need but thanks..

It looks like i could just peel the fake wood finish off... and some parts have the washi aluminum under it.

So is Wood Trim listed as an option on the sticker as coming from the factory? If you can peel it off and see washi trim, then what help do you need? Dealers can also add aftermarket wood overlays. You need to be more specific in what you what want help with.

If the dealer installed it, they should be responsible. Regardless of where you bought the car, you have the aftermarket wood kit. You will need a good adhesive remover but it should come off and the washi will show.
