Thanks for the info... did not crack the cover thanks to you guys!
All the info covers the 'gotchas'... awesomeness! only took 20 mins to remove... and I took my time to be safe.

after you remove the plastic rad cover, file the two holes that fit over the "prongs" to enlarge them a little bit.
easier to enlarge the holes in the plastic than it is to grind down the metal prongs.
now its easy to remove the 2nd time.
