Not sure if this has been addressed already, but does reseting the ECU using this method clear the TPMS warning light after new wheels have been installed?

Dealer wants $30 to reset, and I am hoping I can get around giving the stealership more cash. If not, would a Cobb AP be able to clear the TPMS warning?

It lets the ECU take advantage of the extra ambient air coming in if you have an intake air scoop.

I know this isn't the place for it, but kingsfan, you might be running lean, which is potentially bad for the engine. Your ECU does adjust but only to a certain extend. If you ram the intake with too much air that falls outside of the ECU adjustment parameters, you will run lean.

You talked about your friend who is the guru on modding cars and ECU management, ask him if he knows about VVEL's different fuel trim and ask him to explain that to you. If he doesn't, I'd remove those scoops before they do damage to your engine.

If you have gotten TSB's such as the VVEL one and/or the station presets issue, etc. - this soft reset doesn't erase that or anything does it??

I just did it this way and I think it worked. The SES light flashed fast after the 20 sec and went off. BTW, this is different than the original post said to do, this says to hold the petal down for 20 sec, not 10 and then 10 again?

Did you try it with my timing? It works fine on my car. But when I just recently did it for someone else, I actually had to change the timing a little bit to get the CEL faster.
