Fuel Door rubbing against fender

Hey Guys,

I have a 2013 G37 Sedan and I'm wondering if anyone has this problem...

When I open up the fuel door, the right side of the fuel door (the side on the hinge) rubs against the inside of the car. Not only does it make that rubbing noise, but it's actually rubbed off the paint on the inside fender area.

Put in other words, it's almost like the fuel door is not centered correctly, like the fuel door is sitting slightly too much to the right, so when you open up the fuel door it rubs against up against the inside of the fender.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Can this be fixed?

Thanks!

my car doesnt do this but the loaner i had for a few days did. there are two torx head screw inside the fuel door area, you can probly adjust the door loosening and re-tightening them. i think they are on there quite tight.

Not to steal this thread but how about fuel doors that sit lower and are not flush with the lines of the rear panel.
Anyone ever encounter and fix something like this?

A better question to ask is if Warranty will cover this?
