Disinfecting Car Interior?
Hi Guys,
I just cleaned out my whole car, since I had a bunch of random junk all over my seats. I must say it feels a whole lot better to have absolutely nothing inside of the actual car, other than the center console, and a few things in the trunk. I love the look of the bare interior with nothing on the seats at all. I made a pledge to myself that I will always keep the inside of the car completely bare, it just feels much better.
Anyways, I was wondering if there was any way to disinfect the inside of the car? I know there's tons of different ways (and products) to do, but I'd like to make sure I don't harm any of the fabrics.
So far I was thinking...
Lysol Spray for the Carpets (quick spray down)
I wasn't sure what to use for the door handle, and buttons in the front of the car. Window buttons, etc. I was thinking a Lysol/Chlorox wipe, although wasn't sure if these were too harsh for the plastics?
I also wanted to know what I could use for the actual leather seats. I know they have leather cleaner, but wasn't sure if it was an actual disinfectant? Is there any wipes/sprays that are safe on leather?
Lastly, is there anything to use on the outside of the car on painted surfaces? For example a door handle? Might be extreme, but I figure it doesn't hurt to do once every few weeks?
Thanks!
