At first, I was reluctant to buy snow tyres because we were in the midst of a fairly mild winter.
However, since ~late January, its been snow/icing almost constantly.
Loving these XICE Snow. They're an improvement from the previous XICE3 in terms of road noise and wet traction.
The snow/ice acceleration and braking traction seems to be about similar to the outgoing model.
The lateral (turning grip) snow traction is immense, however.
I love snow tyres for winter use. Its so easy to manipulate the car's yaw rate and I don't get stuck anymore.
I should note that I never (under any circumstance) use traction control in any car.
I can get this mother sideways and pointed in the correct direction about 100ft before the intersection, and by the time I reach the intersection, I just have to gas it and go straight. And I'm off into the distance. Rally stylin.
I can drive normal really good with these tyres too. But...that's not really exciting or in need of description.
I've already had to drive far away, through a woods, in a snow storm. Because I was hungry for a very specific type of sandwich.
During the next snow storm, I was hungry again. Snowy interstate? Pff. No problem, jerky.
Got caught in another snow storm whilst I was in the downtown Chicago area. Yes...I was out getting food.
I also no longer get stuck in my driveway or trying to leave a parking spot...

This car has been a ton of fun, and this is a VASTLY better community than most other type of models have.
Unfortunately, I didn't ever quite bond with it and it should be enjoyed by someone who's a lot more passionate about this platform.
Hopefully it goes to a good home.
I bought the car in September and through a multitide of mishaps on the part of FedEx and the AZ/IL DMV's, I am supposed to receive the much awaited title this coming week.
