So I've been battling with a very odd issue with my idle, fuel trims, VTC readings all fluctuating as soon as it warms up to 158 degree F.
I would also get the P0011, P0021, and P0524 codes. Due to these codes, I was already thinking it was going to be gallery gaskets.
I had plans on checking my oil pressure, after my VVT solenoids checkout to be okay, and even swapped to new one just in case.
I spoke with Martin and he is dealing with this exact issue with a customer out in Europe, he immediately told me to check my wiring plugs for the VVT solenoids and confirm I didn't have it reverse.
Sure enough, I was it incorrect, and sending the signals to the wrong solenoid. Swapped the plugs and this fixed it. I can actually drive the car now, it idles perfectly, fuel trims and VTC readings are all normal.
Because I had the wiring routed at the side versus over the top, I thought the slick sleeve went to Bank1, but its actually suppose to go to Bank2. This image is the incorrect plug orientation.
Adding more wheels to the collection. Picked up a set of Volk SF Challenges in very rough condition and unknown specs. It ended up being way too aggressive for the car but hope to rebarrel them.
I need to pull the tires off to measure the width and offset.
Thanks brother. sadly its way too much poke to make it work with my camber setting. Rears were either 11.5' or 12" widths, I haven't pulled the tires off to confirm. Front seem to be maybe a 9.5" with single digit or negative offset.

I crushed one of the hard lines on the rack during my engine replacement and was leaking power-steering fluid like crazy, but finally had some time to replace it.
I am considering swapping out the 3" Rabbit Hole Motorsports intakes I have for the Alibaba 3" intake because of the ease of install and removing of the pipe.
The Rabbit Hole intake is great but because I do a lot of random things in my engine bay, its more difficult to attach the lower section.
So the new fenders and trunk came in. Not sure I am feeling the styling now that I am seeing it in person but pass final judgement when its on the car.
Back in 2019, Randal Lucas made a batch of Z1 header mid mount manifolds for G37/370z. I found a good deal on one and decided I could slowly build a turbo setup at my own pace and budget.
I have a full rear mount turbo setup just sitting in storage and I may reuse some of the parts like the intercooler and some cold side piping. I'll have to source everything else.
