Are you running EPS throttle bodies? Is Rej on FB or does he have a site?

I was thinking about going Titanium 3" intakes just to keep a theme going.

Thanks. I've though about going titanium also but figured I'd stay consistent with my full intake setup from Rej and Rabbit Hole Motorsports. I'm currently still running EPS throttle bodies. Rej can be contacted though FB or Instagram through Rabbit Hole Motorsport.

 

Last week, I had the unlucky situation of clipping a deer off the interstate. Damage doesn't seem bad or permanent at first glance. I didn't check anything underneath. I had the car towed to a shop I like, TS1 Autoworks. We'll see how things go with insurance.

 

Man that sucks... Hope your insurance doesn't give you the run around. You may get a new paint job out of it.

 

Insurance has been very smooth, so I'm greatly for that. Appraised damage was $5,000 for parts and labor (). Sadly, they are only replacing the one damaged headlight, makes sense, but I'll have to purchase another stock one for the other side for now.

 

I jumped at the opportunity to pick these little babies up. They were posted for about 30mins and at the price, I knew I had to get to it quick. Z1 headers with all O2 sensors and test pipe, all ready to be dropped in.

 

I got a small update. My core support and radiator were damaged. There was a bit of frame damage so the car was put on the puller. TS1 Autoworks upgraded my radiator to the 3 pass CSF. Bumper was tested fitted and should be painting next week. Not sure when my headlights will be done, but i think that is the last major task.

 

Small update:

• Put a deposit down for Shawn Hall to make me a 3.5" single exit exhaust, I requested to have a vibrant resonator up front and a helmholtz resonator by the muffler. Got an update from him earlier this week and he is just waiting for the muffler he ordered to come in
• Rej of Rabbit Hole Motorsport is waiting for my lower manifold to come back from the sand blasting folks. He's done with my upper manifold.
• I finally bought a set of DE Motordyne ART pipes. I have a potential buyer for the HR/VHR ART pipes but not 100%. I can finally install my Z1 headers, but also thinking about sending it out to get coating for heat managment.
• On the fence about picking up some Z1 motor mounts. Not sure if its in the budget with all that I've recently picked up.
• TS1 Autoworks is working on my headlights and sent my car out to get paint corrected. I can't wait to get the car back.

 

If you've got a shop swapping in those Z1 headers, then maybe it's an opportunity to swap motor mounts at the same time. All by their lonesome, motor mount install could spec out as a 4-hour job. So you might save a few hundred bucks bringing them into this project.

Throttle response is better, NVH is actually minor (compared to the transmission mount), and the engine is lowered by 1/2 inch or more.

I originally planned to do the headers myself, or at least attempt it. But due to time, I've been considering having the shop do it. I agree on the motor mounts install with the headers. I'm heavily leaning towards buying some.

 

Shawn sent mock up pictures of the muffler for me. I asked to have the muffler sit straight rather than the angle exit like most singles.

 

Just got an update back from the body shop. Can’t wait for it to be done.

I'm in love. I can appreciate the mirror covers now!

Its a sheet I found at Home Depot. I'm not very low, but I use to live in a neighborhood that had massive speed bumps, and this has been a life saver.
