Since you have a lot of evidence, i really hope you get all your money back.

Appreciate the updates, normally when people get scammed or have something negative to say about a company they remain quiet. Speaking out helps the community as a whole and i wish more people did it.
Yeah. I just wish I would have done a little more homework before buying from them because I wouldn't have. I also lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. He's really making this more difficult than it needs to be for no good reason. I would think that since I got the kit for a rather large discount during their sale that they would jump at the chance to sell it to someone else for $150 more.

Be sure to post some feedback here when you can, and sorry you've had to take one on the chin

I just got an email from Paypal a little bit ago. It seems they've made a determination in the case:

You’re eligible for a refund of $418.00 USD once you return the items listed below before December 29, 2016. Before you do so, please read our instructions carefully.

To receive your refund, you need to:

Return the item(s) listed below to the seller address we provide.
Provide online shipment tracking information in your Resolution Center before December 29, 2016. The merchandise must be in the condition in which you received it and you are responsible for any costs associated with the return. If the transaction was $750.00 USD or more, we need signature confirmation from the seller.

So it looks like the situation was resolved in the end. It's a shame that it even had to come to this in the first place. I'm a firm believer that the success of any business doesn't rely on profit margins, but on the establishment and retention of a customer base through positive interactions. With the way that Visconti Tuning has been conducting themselves, I'm sure nature will take its course on this company soon enough.

$418? Is that even close to what you originally paid for it?

Not much new going on for the past few weeks. I got a nail in my sidewall the day after Christmas then went out of town the next day.

I've got a jack under it to keep the wheel from directly sitting on the concrete, but right now I don't really have the funds to replace the rear tires. I may just wait until I get my tax return to grab wheels and tires; might as well kill two birds.

In other news, I've got my original parts back from the shop last week. I had been trying to arrange for an engine hoist, but the ended up bringing their own.

Now I have a complete engine, cats, Y-pipe, motor mounts, transmission mount, and engine harness that I'm going to try and sell. I'm looking around at what things are currently going for here and on eBay before putting together a sale post in the classifieds.

I took some time today to do more work on my multimedia setup. I have gone through several iterations in the past, and I think I've arrived at the best solution for my needs. I don't think I'll do a dedicated DIY for it unless there's enough interest.

I opened up the box that contains the RCA jacks and soldered short RCA cables onto the pads of the PCB.

Secured the wires. I also removed part of the housing to make room for the wires.

I used epoxy to attach an HDMI to RCA converter box to the top of the RCA module.

I removed the iPod connector since I never used it, and mounted the combined modules back on to the console.

The yellow cable from the HDMI box goes to the NavTool Video 1 input. The white and red cables go directly to the PCB that routes the audio to the speakers. It's not the prettiest setup, but it works.

I posted up a couple pics of the HDMI mod I did on a G37 facebook group. Judging from the hundreds of likes and comments, there's a good deal of interest in having a DIY made. I'll be putting something together this week sometime and I'll put the link here too for anyone that is subscribed to this thread.

Yep. Journey with the sport package. The only difference is the AT instead of the MT. Same BBK, same suspension, same front fascia, same seats, etc. Badged with the red 'S' from the factory.

It's kind of strange the way it's marketed since the "Sport trim" and the "Sport package" are two different things, but the only major difference is the transmission.
