I sold my motorcycle yesterday. Kinda bittersweet, but I didn't use it much anyway. I decided to get something that I've wanted to get for my G since the day I bought it. I ordered an IPL front bumper from Outcast Garage. I'm having them paint it PG so it should be ready to go as soon as I get it. Now the front of the car will finally look as nice as the rear.

I finally replaced my rear tires. For whatever reason when I got this car it had 245/45 on all four wheels. I've now got 275/35 on the back, and I'll eventually get 245/40 on the fronts. Then it needs more low. I think the reason my car looked lowered from some angles was due to the taller sidewalls filling out the wheel well more. There's definitely more gap in the back now with the "stock" sidewall size.

After over a year of having my G, I've finally got around to putting some blue lights on. I'm getting everything new since I sold my old lights after I took them out of the Benz.

So far I've only got the license plate bracket, 2 single color modules, and 2 dual color modules. I'll eventually be getting a visor mount interior bar and tail light strobes to finish it off.

Here's a quick look at the license plate lights in action:

Since I was off today I decided to work on the wiring harnesses for my blue lights. I had ordered some supplies off Amazon since mine were running low. I decided to go with a Weatherpack connector setup.

Here's the goodies:

Here's a nice shot of the lights at night. They're stupid bright, I had to dial the exposure way down to get it right:

I ordered some of Blue Batmobile's GT-R style tail light overlays the other day, and I put them on today.

Overall they came out OK. I'm definitely no pro when it comes to tinting and wraps, and it shows. These look great from a few feet away, but up close you can see little bubbles and wrinkles. It's not the fault of the material, rather the installer (me). I may just go with it, for now, then either have a new set professionally installed or get a set of tail lights done from OneEighty if they still do them.

Looks great! You can pop any bubbles with a needle and apply pressure. Also, give it a couple days to cure .

Thanks!

I like that Platinum Graphite was only available on the G37 for a couple of years. Makes it a little rarer I suppose. It's a pain if you want OEM parts, though. I've got an IPL bumper on order and it's taking forever because it needs to be painted before they ship it out.

Update from Outcast Garage!

It had been over 2 weeks since I had a status update on my IPL bumper. I finally got an update last night that the bumper has been painted and arrived at their shop just before the end of the day yesterday. They will be inspecting it and should be shipping it out Friday. It'll probably take another week to get to me, so I'm hoping to have it mounted up with my Feniex lights by the end of March.

This is how these tail lights should have looked from the factory. Much better!
