Meh, I like it. I was unsure of it at first, but it's grown on me.

I've been able to use my new lights on scene a few times recently and I snapped a pic or two with my cell of them in action.

I also grabbed this pic on my way home from a photo shoot I did at a car show.

The other day I decided to order some gloss black 3M vinyl wrap to do my roof. I figured I would give it a try instead of paying someone else to do it. It's not flawless, but it looks pretty good to me. Here's some pics:

Roof is a nice look, and that view from the back looks really clean, good job I'd say.

I've also been toying around with some ideas for the grille. The one I have was poorly painted by a previous owner and is chipping. I did some quick and dirty photoshop of a few variations. Since I would like to rebadge it as its JDM sibling I used the Nissan burger in these mockups.

Badgeless with chrome:

Smoked Nissan and smoked chrome:

I also did a variation where I put the "370GT" badge in place of the Nissan lettering. Not sure on this one, or if it would even fit, but here it is:

*EDIT*
I threw together a couple with the Infiniti logo as well:

The badge-free look is my favorite, followed by the smoke Infiniti logo, like that mesh grill for sure!

I'm kind of torn at the moment. I've been thinking abut doing a JDM swap but it would be pretty pricey to do it right (Front and rear emblems, center caps, calipers, airbag cover, seats, door sills, clock, and all that). The smoked Infiniti look is really growing on me.

The mesh itself I found on eBay. I tried to get something as close to the hexagon pattern of the Aero/IPL bumper as I could. What I found has the same height to the cells, but the length is about half. The eBay mesh is 1"L x .5"W, and the OEM mesh is 2"L x .5"W. I decided to do the mock-ups to get an idea of how it could look.

Here's a link to it for anyone interested: Universal Black ABS Plastic Racing Honeycomb Hex Mesh Grill Spoiler Bumper Vent | eBay

I've come across a post on a G37 Facebook group from a company called OEMassive. Looks like they're going to be releasing "GT-R style" headlights for our coupes. They've got a few pics on their page of them. I think I may get them but I'm still not sure. I threw together a quick Photoshop of them on my car. The quality of the source image was pretty horrible as it was a screencap from their video, but it gives a general idea of how they'd look.

Yep, those look like the same ones! I'm kinda digging the design, but hopefully they have done some improvements from the prototype in the thread you linked. In those pics, you can see the individual LED's in the strip which doesn't look all that great. If they have worked on diffusing the light a little more for the production version I think it will greatly improve the aesthetic.

Today I FINALLY got my front windows tinted. I've had this thing for a year and a half now, I'm not sure why I waited so long lol. Here are some quick cell phone pics of before, during, and after.

Looks much better now!
