^ you can't though because one pipe goes over the other pipe. It's not like a flange type thing. maybe if you put washers after the cat? i dunno

There's a few options, you could have a shop fab pipes off your Cats into a resonated X pipe (magnaflow makes them) then back into your catback. The X pipe should cancel out the frequencies that will rasp and improve overall flow sicne you'd be running a true dual exhaust. You could also replace your midpipes w/ the bigger tubes and smaller resonators. There might even be room to run that Magnaflow X where your current pair of midpipe/resonators reside. Here's a 2.5" Xfrom magnaflow

I'm really digging the whole X pipe idea, would the Tanabe still be a restriction seeing it uses OEM piping of can that be changed as well? I really need to find a reputable exhaust shop to get this done. This was exactly the response I was looking for, thanks blnewt!

Well the Tanabe alone isn't that loud. They sound great with the Berk's HFC, but you can still tell there's a restriction with the OEM piping. Went through Chesapeake bay bridge/tunnel and it was awesome.

That's right. Mentioned elsewhere recently, too.

Well then, I suppose the ice-pick mod is out of the question. LOL

Here's an idea, Z. Set a date for Spring of 2017. Figure out the total cost bought and installed for whatever catback you want. Do the math, and start saving. In the meantime, you've got a great looking exhaust throughout all of 2016, with a little better sound than otherwise. Enjoy it, then upgrade according to plan and budget.

Or just put this whole thing on the shelf for post-deployment. I seem to recall you saying you'd be getting sent somewhere for a while, right?

I like that idea, seeing that I'll be back sometime during tax-return season next year, I can probably get a good deal on the Ark catback. If only Motordyne made an AWD version.

Thanks so much man! Hoping to have black headlight housings with panamera shrouds and STI-r lense, sport front bumper, vinyl wrapped trim/grille, BBK(no rush), and eventually I'd like to get a set of Volk GT-30s. Always loved those wheels.

Really digging the black chrome wheels!
I'm not sure what your current plans were for wrapping chrome trim pieces, but maybe consider using some black chrome vinyl to accent those awesome wheels. I did this around my front grille for a bit, really liked the look too. My only problem was I used some cheap stuff off eBay, and it faded to a normal looking chrome almost immediately. There are lots of companies that make protected versions of chrome wraps, so I'd use one of these as they won't fade. Here are a few pics from day of install, you can tell how much darker than my chrome headlight housings it is(and I even have a sport version, with supposedly slightly darker headlight chrome than base/journey.)

I've decided that I will be getting my headlights done in the near future (the chrome was killing me).

I'm leaning towards either gloss black or gunmetal housings and an STI-R lens upgrade. I really like the Panamera shrouds but the fact that the LEDs don't turn on with the car in auto mode is kinda dumb. It somewhat defeats the purpose of DRL. What do you guys think? Would a switched relay be possible to have the Panamera lights come on with the car and shut off when the headlights are on?

There are cheap modules you could wire them to that would make the panamera LEDs turn on/off automatically when the car is turn on/off. I'm sure there is a way to have them turn off when the headlights are on but I have no clue.

I've been thinking of doing the panamera mod myself. Not sure if it should be a 180 job or diy.

I just think it would defeat the purpose of DRL if I had to switch them on manually. I'm getting mine done professionally, just not by OnEighty. I can PM you if you'd like.

Car is looking good in red with the drop and the wheels. Nice work so far. I bet it is a lot more fun around corners now.

Thanks! Feels like a completely different car now. I see coils sometime later on, but I'm perfectly fine with my suspension as of right now. Especially for spirited driving.
