How did the tein basis hold up on the track? I've always used Tein for suspension in my previous builds and had no complaints. But I haven't heard much regarding our platform.

The Teins held up well on the track, even with the sticky tires. No complaints and great handling.

Indeed I am! Gonna miss my car for the next month or so... It'll sure give me time to think about car parts though.

Berk's fit perfectly fine for me, they even bolted right up to the factory support bracket.

So I think I've decided on doing the 2010+ sport sedan bumper conversion. Just waiting on OnEighty NYC for a quote. Not really sure if I want the OEM sport lip though, kinda like the carbon signal lip better.

If I don't end up doing the conversion, I'll just get Black Nickel R2C intakes and that'll be all until February 2017.

Sounds like a great plan and back-up plan. Sorta plan A and plan B.

I've looked into that conversion too. I like it but I would want to do the side skirts as well as the splash guards to round it all out. Then, I'm talking: 'why not just get another car instead?'. Particularly when getting ONEighty or Wald involved with it. Not to mention I already have the non-sport chin spiller and splash guards.

Thanks for letting me walk on your build thread. LOL. It helps to get it out of my head for some perspective, though.

But the difference in side skirts so minute, it's not even worth the effort. I couldn't get myself to budge on the non-sport lip, just doesn't do it for me.

It's more pronounced if you put a Sport and non-Sport side-by-side.

Other than that, you're absolutely right. Almost impossible to tell which sills you have or don't have.

Same goes for the Sport-package headlights. You would never know otherwise unless side-by-side.

So if all goes as planned, I should be getting my 2010+ sedan sport bumper in vibrant red installed by OnEighty NYC on July 5th! Really looking forward to getting that done.

For some odd reason, I've had an urge to dress up my engine bay. It's been on my mind since I ruined my engine cover back in March. But I'm thinking about giving it another shot. I've weighed in my options, even with getting a carbon fiber engine cover. I'm not sure if it would look out of place without a carbon fiber radiator shroud though.

All I was planning on is some dress up bolts, carbon fiber engine cover, black nickel R2C intakes, and a GT-SPEC FSTB with black mounting brackets. As of right now though, this isn't a priority. But it is something I would like to do in the future.

Wait, the sport headlights are different?
