Bummer about the motor cover Z, but rarely do these kind of DIYs go without any hiccups, ask Rochester about my PlastiDip engine cover, lol. I still haven't got around to making that look proper, but in time.......

That's somewhat comforting, haha. I guess it was a lesson learned.

I just love this look though.

Buy the IPL cover, fill and sand the IPL section. Or don't, and make it a conversation piece. It's your car, Z.

Could be a good excuse to buy a Dremel Tool.

I've been eyeing a Dremel 4000 for a while now. I'd cause a lot of trouble with it. Thanks for your input Rochester. If my old foglights sell I'll hop right on the IPL cover.

So does that mean you're going to take down the WTB that you posted about 45 seconds after you destroyed your original one?

JK. I think the IPL cover's bad-***. If you like it who cares? We have coupe wheels and no one thinks we're driving coupes...or even mentions anything about it. Other than: nice wheels.

I want to paint my OEM one, but I'm just not inspired. I can't find a color I like and I dislike painting enough that I keep putting it off. Lord knows that if want to do a mod on the G, I will. Just can't get in a good spot with it.

Sean

It was actually like 10 seconds... I was sooooooooooo mad, I got really close to chucking it across my friend's driveway.
That's a great way to look at it. Will definitely be an interesting addition to my car. We'll see how this all plays out.

IPL cover got snatched up on eBay

Might just settle for a regular cover now. First world problems.

But seriously, the plastic intake manifold is hideous.

$186 shipped from InfinitiPartsUSA. The vibrant red spoiler was about $100 cheaper than any other color that was available. I'd check CarPartsCorner on eBay for a good deal.

Yeah I saw one in my color for about 100, just trying to figure out if that's the best deal I can find.
