Wow, what a difference! Very well done, Z.

You know, about the brakes... those 15 spoke OEM rims do a very effective job of hiding the brakes. And while the Akebono BBK looks heroic, the reality for daily driving is they perform and feel the same. In other words, don't worry about it.

Thanks so much man! I've come a long way. Also thankful for having some mechanically inclined friends.

Looking very nice Z, should drop a bit more, look forward to more pics.
And John makes a good point, you picked the perfect wheel set for keeping those base brakes a secret

It's quite a popular look.

And newt and Roch are correct. They're great for occluding base brakes which work very well indeed.

Thanks guys! I expected my alignment to be all out of whack, but the car is driving perfectly fine? Going in for an alignment this Friday after the springs settle for a bit. Oddly enough, the car rides much better now. Might just be a placebo, but I'm enjoying it. I expected to be feeling the road a lot more.

Car is sitting proper & looking fine! Glad to see you also joined the "get a better video soon" club. These Gs always sound better under a load when rolling vs. still. Bet you love that power boost w/ those HFCs. I can't wait to drive my car now, definitely puts a smile on your face.

Sooo, I knew this would happen. But I am looking for more volume out of my exhaust, I can definitely hear the restriction from the stock piping since I am using the Tanabe exhaust. Would smaller resonators be my best bet? Can an exhaust shop weld larger diameter piping to the Tanabe? Say 2.25in all the way through? I'm really just looking for a little more low end rumble. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hail the Gecko! You need to post that pic in this thread too, very cool!

There's a few options, you could have a shop fab pipes off your Cats into a resonated X pipe (magnaflow makes them) then back into your catback. The X pipe should cancel out the frequencies that will rasp and improve overall flow sicne you'd be running a true dual exhaust. You could also replace your midpipes w/ the bigger tubes and smaller resonators. There might even be room to run that Magnaflow X where your current pair of midpipe/resonators reside. Here's a 2.5" Xfrom magnaflow
