Your G is going to look great lowered man. You'll be grinning from ear to ear, like this....

Thanks! Swifts should be delivered tomorrow. Once I lower it, high flow cats will be my next focus. Looking to purchase those sometime next month and install shortly afterwards.

As of right now I'm leaving towards the Z1 HFC. ANMVQ convinced me.

Got my Swifts today! Now I'm just waiting for my rear toe/camber bolts to come in the mail. Gonna see if my alignment shop can install them for me.

(Don't mind my messy trunk)

is your exhaust really quite unless your really getting into it? Cause I have cats, y pipe and the same same axle back you have and resonators still in place and it sounds quite, no drone but i really only hear it unless im flooring it or shifting myself and letting the gears redline. Thanks

I don't think it's too bad, it's subtle but I like it. Sounds pretty good in this video I took (parking garage)

That's really, really quiet.

There's a reason why people describe the Tanabe Medallion axle-back as close-to-OEM.

Sure does look good, though. I'd call that a fair return for the price.

I'd say it's slightly louder than stock. I'm excited for my HFC and possibly swapping out the resonators for some 12" vibrants. All in all, this will probably end up costing as much as the Stillen exhaust but that's okay, it'll be a somewhat unique setup.

Absolutely. Once you replace your OEM cats for non-resonated high-flow cats, you're going to introduce a good amount of noise. Even more so if you use smaller resonators in the pipes.

Z1 Motorsports, huh? 300 cell count with support for the connecting bracket, for $388.

As long as you don't trip a CEL on the O2 sensors, that seems like a pretty good buy.

That's really the only thing that worries me. I know the FI HFC have the extended O2 bungs, but Z1 seems like a reputable company so I'm willing to take the very slight risk of getting a CEL. Now the real debate is whether to DIY the HFC install (using a lift and air tools of course), or wait until I go back to Jersey and get them installed for $135. JDS Motoring does a lot of Z/G work and that price for a HFC install seems very reasonable. It's hard to trust shops near a military base since all they try to do is screw us out of our money. ($600 for Swift spring install LOL)

IMO $135 is extremely reasonable to forgo the hassle of the cat install. I paid quite a bit more but would've gladly forked over twice as much!!! Judging from the feedback from several members, it was not a pleasant experience.
