Thought I was done, didnt ya
Next, I finally put a black bezel onto the steering wheel instead of the grey one. It flows nicer with the darker floor mats and stuff. Ill be wrapping the interior trim soon with something dark, so it will flow a lot better. Flash always makes interior lighting look strange, but yeah definitely better in person.

Here is what the different modes look like on the headlights. I did replace the turn signal bulb as this Morimoto one was turning a bit yellow. Now it's all 5500k. I left the fogs on for all these photos, but you can turn them off as before.

This one is just everything on.

Headlight off during turn signal.

Headlight on during turn signal.

So as I mentioned a few times before, the 3 little DRL lights will be changing to switchbacks as well, so they will also flash amber during turn and will be white otherwise.
Here is what the car looks like in its normal on state with everything on and then the headlights and fogs turned off. (As I mentioned before, the turn signal yellowed a bit, so they've since been replaced with 5500k switchbacks.)

So that more or less completes my vacation build lol. Here are a few beauty shots.

Next steps? OEM sport lip for starters. Z1 Upper control arms already ordered. Some more blue P2M clamps for the filters that you see through the grille. Not digging the silver hardware. Megan Ypipe and Fast intentions RHFC coming in the next 2 months. Then retune

Fantastic work, Hexotic! It's like you've got a brand new car again, but totally custom and personal. Must be a great feeling.

Definitely is! For sure nothing else like it on the road, at least nowhere around where I live. I've noticed a significant increase in broken necks.

You see, I have a sport and have had the lip off before and in my opinion the car looks good without it.
The sedan should have brought some sort of OEM Sport spats, or lip and possibly better skirts.

Really good transition in the ICC sensor area and the grill looks amazing. Any issues with water or hood bouncing at higher speeds?

lol, you guys just making me want to spend more. I dont hate the look of the car without the lip, but feels like its not quite aggressive enough. I may stop at lip and front/side splitters.

I still want to rebuild that inner box. Its such a complicated shape... 4 trapezoids... Used my old splitter to build it, so I have some spare material left lol.
Drove in some crazy rain already and no water issues, hood doesnt bounce or rattle. For water, I do want to make a sort of shield with slanted slots in it that clips into the hexagonal grille that I can attach when its raining heavily.

Weird shape it is. I've found 2 sedans with ICC at the years unfortunately bumpers were taken.

Yeah, the no cruise lower grille is widely available, but the one with the hole is a special order via Infiniti and costs an arm and a leg.

So far, I might have liked every set of pictures you have posted lately. Super clean car and it looks really great. Tasteful mods without going over the top, but still enough change to be different than stock.

Thanks, that's more or less the goal, subtle but unique and on a budget.

I just realized I never added the sport lip photos into this thread.

And finally, updated photo of all the colour-matched pieces on the inside, installed. No more mismatched carpets and steering wheel.

I had one oversight with my headlights. Adding a lens to the turn signal looked great, but since there is no reflector in front of it, it was focusing light and messing up the paint. I popped the headlights open again. Resprayed with a matte ceramic high-heat paint. I also swapped the lenses for glass covers instead.

I also built some rain shields for the z1 intakes. I made a few sets of plates — 99 hole plates, 8-hole plates, and no-hole plates — that can be swapped in based on season. They sit inside the aluminium channel that is bolted to the crash bar. The plates are made from 1/4" lexan.
