I couldn't find one I liked so I made this one myself. I think there are some photos of the process earlier in the thread. It's just a sheet of ABS mesh, a bit of cutting and a bit of fiberglass. This was a first attempt and worked out great.

I suppose I never updated this thread with the new interior overlays. Yes it's fake carbon, but it covers the old man wood with scratches on it, and matches the other black elements. Overlays were like $150 total with some minor modifications to make them fit.

Also a few pics of the GTR gauges.

Looking forward to setting up the GTR Gauges as well. Can you rename the view to something else?

I don't think you can. There are a few limitations. Like the stopwatch doesn't work for example, the G doesn't come with forward and back G sensors, so the whole g sensor view is a bit weird. I'll ask Frank next time we meet regarding the renaming of views.

I've seen Frank's GTR Gauges mod in person a few months ago when he drove down to visit.

If that kind of thing sparks your interest, you won't be disappointed. It really is amazing.

On Custom View 2, maybe for RWD Intake Air Temp can replace Torque Split (cool gauge for AWD owners).

OBD Solutions up north is a customer of mine, so I purchased an OBDLink MX+ recently to replace my $20 code reader that I've used for years: https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-mxp/

I have a dashboard setup to view all the temps and it's amazing how much hotter everything runs in traffic, even if its cool outside.

@Rochester Still enjoying the Tire Pressure hack Frank shared with us. I broke it with the new wheels when I had to replace TPMS sensors with aftermarket, but I turned the feature off, then back on and they were recognized right away. I used it yesterday to determine that the tech at Discount tire put 38lbs of air in my new tires (I normally run 31.5). Ouch.

The gauges are customizable too, there's more gauges you can show and you can add sensors to oil pressure for example. It also has boost if you're running a supercharger or turbo, it's functional. Really awesome little OEM+ upgrade.

You are correct, it can't be renamed.... on second thought it could, but would require the NAV unit to be disassembled, remove the hard drive, and modify one partition and update the checksum... then put back together. Not fun or easy

Thanks for your kind words and the great chat we had that afternoon. It was nice to test the GTR gauges on a 3+ hour drive... and yes, all was good!

I see. So that label is essentially the name of a partition on the internal HDD which houses all the Navigation maps. No problem.

Hmmm.. air intake temp data feeding the AWD/RWD gauge... interesting idea and doable.
I could also display IAT (intake air temp) in the "Trans Oil Pres" gauge (180° dial, like oil temp without numbers) On my car, I use that for "diff oil temp", but could sent it IAT.

The OBDLink MX+ w/enhanced addon is a fantastic tool and it is also very quick when data logging.

Thanks for additional feed back on the TPMS hack. Based on the lack of YouTube comments it must be working well....
Except for one guy in the UK, he couldn't get it work on his 370. After a few days of back and forth troubleshooting, we found TPMS was an option in the UK, and he didn't have it.

Correct! There are 4 partition on the drive. One for boot, operating system (VX Works), navigation/maps and music box. (I think this is correct, its been a while since I looked into it)
