Quick background, got the car used with 65k km (40k miles). Previous owner left me some unpleasant surprises and some body damage, so I am fixing this baby up and making it my own.

Nice intro, looks like you're off to a flying start
Keep up the good work and have some fun in that new ride.

Thanks :D
I keep telling myself to stop spending money, but next thing I do is go buy something else...... Its a disease.
Im doing as much as I can myself, but I live in a condo... so not allowed to work in the garage, have to do stuff on the weekends at the cottage, and now its too cold to do anything, QQ

How about some better shots of the car/wheels now that it's lowered?

And what's the next project? I'm strongly recommending swaybars.

+1 On the sways. Of all the things I've added to my G, sways are in the top 3 for real impact in my driving experience.

Ive had my eyes on the sways for a while lol. Was hoping there would be a good deal during black friday/cyber Monday from Canadian retailers... no such luck. Next paycheque is going towards paying off all the crap I bought + gifts, so probably in another 2 weeks or a month. I would prefer to install the sways myself, but I'd have to rent a shop space for that, so things have to really fall into place schedule wise. Im also looking to add a front lip, but first I have to sand/paint/buff my bumper. The one thing the previous owner left me was a nasty deep scrape (probably scraped a wall) on the front drivers side bumper. Props to the used car dealer that skillfully layered 10 coats of wax over the scrape to cover it up, truly a professional scumbag.

Im going to install my tail as turn module today, and my new LED fogs and reverse lights should arrive soon.

As for better shots with the car lowered, I took a few already, posted them in the showoff thread, but now I can post the good ones here :D.
(I would go and take some photos today, but its a ****ty rainy day, and I just washed the car yesterday, no way its seeing daylight today haha)

Swifts really are the perfect, cost-effective drop for the AWD Sedan.

And those wheels are great, fitment looks fantastic. They'll look even better after you upgrade to a BBK, since the rim design shows off the brakes so clearly. I wouldn't have painted them red like that, but nothing is forever, and it's likely a better look than before you painted them.

I had the same guy that put my new rotors and pads in wire brush the rust off the callipers and paint them. The high temp pain he had was red, blue, and orange lol.... It was more of a rust proofing measure than cosmetic.

The guys that put my springs in have Akebono brakes for sale, so Ill be going Infiniti Silver in the summer. Akebono 14? Front and Rear Sport Brake Upgrade Kit Nissan 370Z 09-14 Infiniti G35 G37 07-13 | Whitehead Performance

Right now, winter wheels are about to go back on, so doesnt matter too much.

Also, the rear wheels, you can see the red springs quite clearly through the wheels, so it matches up with the red callipers quite nicely :D

EDIT:
Engine bay cover fully dried and cleaned up. Turned out beautifully. The blue to black fade came out just the way I wanted on both the battery/brake fluid covers and on the engine cover.
