In for updates, those wheels should look really good on the car. I have to agree with blnewt, kw v1's are the way to go. I have them on my car and they have been amazing thus far compared to my h&r springs on stock struts. If price is an issue then stance has some pretty good reviews as well. I was planning on going with stance coils originally but decided to look into kw a little further and decided I was ok with spending more for the v1's. I looked into the v3 but figured I didn't need the adjustable damping. But definitely let us know what you choose and happy modding.

Thanks for the input, guys!

The RS*R's look super nice and I had an RS*R exhaust on my STi that I loved so that may be an option but the KW's are probably the favorite right now since like Tony said, it seems that only Stance makes "true" coils for this car and I don't know that I'm a Stance fan...although I have no direct experience with them so I don't know why I'm such a hater lol.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Tanabe's? It seems quite a few guys on here run those.

Great choice on wheels! In for installed pics after you get coils

If you want true type coils I think only 2 options for our car are either stance or BC. I sat in Diego's car before when he had tanabe coils on and I heard clunky noise, ride very soft and smooth though. I would go with kw v1 over tanabe coils if I were you. Stance made a great coils too heard nothing but good feedback from owner.

I have heard a few (1 or 2?) horror stories about Stance coils, but almost every other information that I have heard has stated that they are as good as the price dictates.

I think KW v1 would probably the better choice over the Tanabes.

I am sort of confused - do you have RE30s or were you just planning to paint your wheels the same color scheme as the RE30s you posted?

I have RE30's. They are on the car now, but they are gunmetal currently and I want them painted black like the picture that I posted earlier.

I figure the black tint with chrome window trim will tie in nicely with black wheels and polished lips, not to mention the grille and painted headlights.

Installed my bumper plugs from bumperplugs.com today!

Packaging: 4/5

Fit/Finish: 4/5

Install Difficulty: 1/5 (You just push them in)

Price: 5/5 (At nearly $36 for these, someone is making some serious profit!)

These are essentially just painted-matched fender-well plugs that can be bought for about $0.50 at any dealership. That said, they transform the front of the car

I went from this:

Soooooo, I decided not to get rid of the G right now.

Went and got my Volks painted black like I wanted and picked up some KW V3's to get it lowered.

Centercaps aren't on yet but I had the red ring on them repainted in black so it should match well. It currently rubs a tad in the rear right now but it'll be aligned Saturday so all should be well on that front.

PICS!!!

I'll toss up some better pics once I wash it this weekend.

Now that's a tight fit!
Nice to see you'll be sticking around, nice choice on the COs too.

Thanks! I might have to raise the rear a tad but the alignment should hopefully tuck that tire a little better.

I'll post some better wheel pics once I toss in the centercaps.
