Ut oh, Johns been drinking again. Bartender, I'll have what he's having (probably scotch if his online persona matches his drinking taste).

Awesome. I'll be curious to see how that fits with your bumper. Do you plan to make any cut outs around the fogs to allow for air flow to the oil cooler? I'm considering updating my front bumper to the 2010+, but the lack of openings around the fogs for my oil coolers is making me hesitant.

^ Definitely what I am worried about, we haven't tried to fit the bumper on yet and it looks like it could be an issue. I will probably drill holes in the fog light mesh in hopes that it would be enough for normal driving. I'm thinking I would have to go bumperless at the track though.
Not sure what boost Tony will be running, but if it's relatively low (less than 10psi), then it should be perfectly reliable. Of course this is assuming the install is done properly with upgraded fuel pump/injectors, oil cooler, and everything is tuned properly. And it seems Tony's gone WAY beyond this with his built. Just make sure to keep an eye on you air/fuel ratios and EGT's and you should be fine.
I've been running my SC set up with ~ 8 psi boost for about 40K miles now with absolutely no issues (knocking on wood ;-).

Yeah, it's a really tight fit. We definitely had to "massage" the mounts and bumper on my G to get the oil coolers to fit. Then I ended up using a dremel to open up the mesh so the oil coolers would get some air flow. The now fit perfectly with my stock sport bumper and are flush against the back of the bumper, but this is why I'm reluctant to update to the newer front bumper. Here are a few pics of my oil cooler set-up without the bumper installed. The last pic is of the same set up on a different car, since I can't seem to find a good pic of the entire front of mine without the bumper.

Bad news: Cut the foglights out for more airflow

I'm going to have to find some mesh to cover all the open spaces now as it looks quite bare. I also realize that the highway construction I drove through everyday pitted up my bumper up and I will need to get it repainted.

Overexposed so you can see the oil cooler:

When I come to your thread...it makes me want to throw all caution to the wind and all money to the car and just go crazy with it. Your car is amazing.
Ok, I better get back to work and stop drooling.
Glad you got to take her out.

Car looks amazing! Bet you can't wait to get her back on the road. Nice to see you got to keep your factory windshield washer bottle. Mine had to go in favor of my dual air filters that are now located in the same place.
You doing burnouts in the parking lot... looks awfully smokey. ;-)
You didn't clear bra your front end? I wouldn't start a build without first having the front end done with a clear bra. I highly recommended the Venture film, as it is much more transparent than the 3M film that is typically used. I even have "self repairing" film on my front lip... just hit it with a heat gun and minor scratches disappear. Works pretty well as long as the clear bra is torn completely through.

Looks great! And that sound!!
For the foglight sections, are the inserts removable or were they cut out?
Also, to cover up the lower openings in the bumper, think this material is worthy of consideration. It is a very close match to the diamond-style mesh of the lower bumper grille, and is a grade similar to OEM (IMO)
