ttv36 - 700+ rwhp Sedan Build Thread
Oh yes, I remember those good ol' G35driver days. Those were some good times. I've actually spent the past couple of years on the Jeep forums since I've been building up a 2012 JK Wrangler 2-Door. I'm almost done with that project so now it's on to the next project.
Yeah, it's definitely gonna happen eventually, but it will be at least another year or so though, since I'll have the GT350 coming sometime this fall. Will want to play with that a bit before moving on to another project. You are correct, the interior on my new Ram 2500 actually makes my G look pathetic and outdated, so it's making me want to "upgrade" to a different car more than ever.
And now you are my inspiration! Funny how things change... Your build thread has actually made me consider doing some last final mods to the G before I get rid of her. Still considering the Carbon Signal front bumper and lip and GTM 600HP tranny upgrade. Just trying to find the time to fit all these projects into my schedule sometimes seems impossible.
FYI... You should consider doing the AMS mods to your E63. 10.9 second 1/4 mile times in a 4-door sedan is just ridiculous.

^ I don't think the Mrs would be too happy if I start modding the E63. The purchase was contingent on "no mods, ever."
Interesting how you plan on modding more before selling - seems like most do the opposite and part out before selling.
Do you think it is still possible to get anything from GTM? I have not heard much good news about them in recent times.

I haven't read too many good things on GTM's customer service lately either but are they completely done or what? I still want an aluminum driveshaft and it seems like their my only option!

Stopped by the shop this past weekend. Block going out for final bore and hone then things will start rolling like "a snowball".
Two more weeks at worst I am told, but I'm going to take it as meaning at best.

Edit: Assembly to start next week. ETA 2 weeks and I should be driving her again.

Unfortunately that's very recent damage... just happened last week. Of course the wife was driving, but it wasn't her fault. Someone backed into her in a parking lot and she couldn't get out of the way fast enough. Their insurance is covering the damage (about $3500 worth), but that doesn't make it any less painful.
Oh d@mn! Now I'm getting really jealous. Can wait to hear how the final product turns out. Bet you are get anxious for your baby to be back together.
