Well the tree actually fell on 4/17 so not exactly the same weekend. But again, thankfully Jtran had the axle on hand and was able to get the G back on the street the same day. I'm not sure how I would've gotten to work today if it weren't for them since the Mrs car hasn't even gone to paint yet!
I get that, Tony. It's part & parcel to the process you went through, and the shows you take the car. But as a car that you drive down the street just for the fun of it... that rear trunk decal is all you need. I think it's the difference between being impressive and being artistic. The "jtranbuilt" decal is artistic. The rest is just go-fast stickers.
No offense intended. You're car is built way beyond anything most of us do on this forum. At this point, all I'm qualified to talk about is what badge you put on the trunk.

Thankfully it is still able to take on it's daily duties the past few weeks just as it has for the past few years, while being quite a bit more fun of course! The axle breaking was because I was pushing it to show off to some buddies so I can't fault the car for that.

Wow, Tony. Sorry to hear about your broken axle. Your car must be getting way better traction than my car in order to break an axle.. Well, that and the fact that your making some monster torque with that beast!
Don't feel too bad about your wife's car taking 3+ weeks for repair and it's still not in paint yet. My G was hit way back on 1/28 and it won't be going to paint until next week! I think by the time I get it back I may have forgotten how to drive it since I've been driving my truck and Jeep for so long. LOL

Yeah, I wish my lawn looked like that! My front lawn currently looks so bad that we're actually in the process of removing it entirely and changing it to a dry landscape. All the CA water restrictions don't allow you to water enough to actually keep your lawn green anymore.

As for you situation, what about artificial grass? Looks great and no maintenance!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I actually have had the sprinkler system off since we have been having some rain the past month or so. I just spread weed and feed and let the rain do the work. Now it seems the April showers are gone so I will have to turn the system on soon.

Just got back from tuning. We ended up at 13psi and a tune that Johnny feels is safe. The car didn't make much more whp, but made almost 100 more wtq with the 3psi bump.
It looks like I will have to switch to E85 if I want to go any further. For now I will enjoy the car and wait for CJM's HR rails so I can upgrade the fuel system even more.
93 octane - Wastegate Pressure (7-8 psi) vs 13psi
93 octane - Baseline/Break-In (10-11 psi) vs 13psi

Oh man, no way I could live there if that were the case. My sprinkler system is one of my favorite things on earth and if I was told I couldn't use it there would be hell to pay. Sadly though, it looks like a lot of states might have water problems in the future so I better enjoy it while it lasts!

Yeah, I love my sprinkler system, and we still have a pretty decent section of front lawn and a large area in the back that we have to keep watered, but with the major draught we are in we just have to watch how much we use it. I actually am looking into converting the rear area to the artificial Pet Turf since we have dogs. The city I live in actually gives you a $2/ft² credit of grass that you eliminate (unfortunately the artificial turf and/or pet turf isn't included in this program for some reason), so we got a check for almost $800 from the city for putting in a decorative parking pad in my side yard last year... So not only did I get a pace to park my truck, but I also came out of it with some mod money too... Win, win for me! And we will also get another ~$1000 for the section we are converting to dry-scape between the sidewalk and street right now. Doesn't look nearly as nice as the beautiful lawn I had back in Cincinnati, but it's not all bad.
