Yes, I bought them from NST directly.

 

Today was a bad dyno day. Maybe the dyno was off or idk but didn't really gain anything. Went from 301 to 298 with no improvement anywhere in the graph. I'll post the picture of results tomorrow.

Yes, everything similar witg wheels and pulleys, which means that there is no way it can make less power because it is just less rotational mass.

 

when the rhfc were fixed could it have made them more restrictive? Hence losing power. No idea man just trying to think what it could be

 

I'm not too sure, but I don't really think the RHFCs are to blame. Here is the graph. The new mods from the last run where NST pulleys + lightweight wheels and tires.

 

Well at least you got an improvement between 5-7k rpms! ...haha pffft. I hope you figure it out, I'm really curious

 

It's actually a loss of power if you look closely. (Red is with the NST pulleys). I was hoping someone in the forum could help me figure it out.

 

Sorry I had the colors reversed I guess.... This is beyond my car smarts sorryy, wish I could help. I asked my friend that works at D3 in Houston as a tuner, he said there's a ton of reasons it could happen, and that our motor doesn't respond too well to n/a mods so they don't work with n/a VQ's. He didnt elaborate beyond that.

 

I guess the heavier rotating mass helps in a sense that it will help the engine speed up and keep the crank spinning faster. Kind of like a rock at the end of a string, once you start spinning the rock the end result will be the rocks momentum will keep the speed while your arm does minimal work. So I guess heavier pulley's is a good thing. To a limit.

 

think it might just be the air quality temp/humidity affecting it. u ever get a chance to run it at the track?

 

temperature atmosphere playing a factor. couldnt tell the temp but there is a change in humidity. and of course you gonna have to retune for the pulleys. loss of 3 horses is not sumn to die over.

 

I wouldnt say you lost power, 3hp is negligible. Just not worth it. Damn you literally made the runs at the same time at different days.
