My Mod + Dyno Log

So I will be going to the dyno everytime I install a new mod.

2011 G37S Sedan 7 A/T

The stock dyno was pretty weak..
chart pic below (254 was 100% stock while 258 was with stock intake filters removed)

This weekend I installed the Stillen Gen 3 and will be testing it out on the dyno on thursday.

Nice to document each mods effect as you go. What mods do you have planned and how much do they charge for each dyno day?

Awesome. I'd love to see a before/after on those. I'm thinking those might be the only hfc's that have a chance at sounding good with my top speed. (And some gains might make the $700 slightly more palatable.)

Yeah. I chose them because they are the quietest and sound great. Hopefully they are worth the price.

Here is my best run with the Stillen Gen 3
265.35hp
223.56tq

comparison stock vs stillen intake:

My Mod + Dyno Log-hfxsnhv.png
HP= 254.17 vs 265.35 = 11.18 HP gain
TQ= 219.34 vs 223.56 = 4.22 TQ gain

and a bonus video of my 1st run:

You've got the right idea about pulling data on one mod at a time. However, by running the dyno on different days, the changes in temperature, barometric pressure and even the dyno itself can throw off the results by a significant amount.

This is an excellent thread, nice work on hitting the dyno for each mod. $20 for 3 pulls is insanely cheap... I guess at that price is makes it pretty easy to do this each time.

Had some vibration issues at first.
Went back to muffler shop and found this piece was causing it, so it was removed.

As always, dyno coming up this week.

Cool thread. Looking forward to future dyno updates.

Any plans to tune after all performance mods are added?
