That really flows well, the white trim lines on the inner light covers are a nice touch, I've seen some that don't look right but those are exceptional

Looks like you also went with MW on the fog trim rings. That's an interesting idea that matches well with the halo in the headlights. BTW, headlights look fantastic, OP.

Can't wait to get my grille painted like this. I've had this printed picture of your grille sitting right here on my desk for the last two weeks, mocking me into action.

No disagreement from me, I'm wanting this grille mod.

I'm running down this little side-job that should net me some extra spending cash that I'm going responsibly blow on the car. (LOL) If it comes in over $700, then I'm spending the whole wad on a pair of Fast Intentions RHFC's. (Because priorities, baby. Priorities.) Otherwise, I'll get this grille painted and take the family out for a few dinners.

Either way, that grille is getting painted eventually. Love that look.

Side job came in at $600, so I'm buying my kid an iPod Touch because she's so awesome, and spending the rest on this grille mod. Scheduled at a local shop on June 10th. Dropping it off on a Monday, picking it back up that Friday. And will be running with a naked nose for about a week.

Anyway, this grille mod has been haunting me ever since I saw what 180 Customs did for you.

And my kid really is awesome... National Junior Honor Society, Principles Award for Excellence out of her whole class, 95% GPA, good friends, etc.

Yep, love that look of the grill too. Glad it haunted you enough to pull the trigger John, should be a nice touch.
Congrats on your girl too, sounds like she was raised right

A girl, a grill, a naked nose, and a haunting, all in one neat story

Better post some pics too!

Why thank you. But you know, it's a work in progress.

Depending on the moment, sometimes I call her Prototype, and her little sister Backup. But there's no middle child, and they don't get the joke anyway.

Dropped the grille off yesterday. They also took the gas-cap door, to help them match the pearl-white paint. (If anyone has ever had to deal with a pearlescent white, you'll know why.) So anyway, now I'm driving around without a nose, and a hole in my rear fender. LOL!

I added a small job to the mix, having realized this just the night before: the center logo is chromed around the sides as well, and flat black in the recessed areas. So I'm having them paint that in metallic black to match the slats, while retaining the chrome face (which wraps around the edge about 1/4 inch). It's a small detail, but makes total sense, and would have drove me nuts if I realized it after the fact.

On a side note... there is a cavernous space between the front grille and the radiator.

And... pretty happy. Moonlight White is a B!TCH to match, but I'm happier with this look than otherwise. And since I'm keeping the chrome trim rings in the fogs (for now), I'm liking the chrome-faced logo.

Done with this mod. Taking a break before I think about what to do next.

Awesome! Great look and appears to be a great color match

No, not really. Just in that picture.

After giving the mod due consideration, I'd rate the quality of the work somewhere in 90% area. The black is darn near perfect, but there is a little edge in one spot where the masking wasn't spot on. It's the kind of thing you'd really have to look for. And the white just doesn't match. Close, but not excellent. Just... good enough to be acceptable.

But that's OK, because the groove between the grille and the bumper skin creates a fair line that makes this whole thing work, IMO.

Overall, I'm happy. It was totally worth the $275 I spent on the project.

Anyway, thanks, Brad.
