Ohai Brother! Long time. Bit glad to see you enjoying the new car still and like i thought your progression to mods happened sooner then you expected and it is a impressive list.
Btw a little project i have been working on.

Thanks, CJ. That's an attractive gauge cluster.

Got the new plates yesterday. I hadn't realized that in NY, custom plates are flat, whereas standard plates have raised letters. It doesn't really matter unless you look at them up close, and even then it's no big deal. But the printing on the little state outline in the middle is larger than otherwise. Oh well.

Turned into a smallish project dealing with the bolts and frames. It's been two years since I touched them. One rear bolt actually stripped, causing me a b1tch of a time, along with an honest-to-god bloody set of knuckles, lots of swearing, and a trip to the Parts Department at my local Nissan dealership. Dammit.

Anyway, it's done, and I'm happy. From a casual glance, they pattern doesn't look custom at all. However... having issues uploading to my website, so the pic will have to wait.

Like I said earlier... few people will recognize this as a custom license plate. And those that do will probably think there were 4082 New Yorkers ahead of me in line, LOL.

The point being: like most things on the car, this is for me, not for other people. When I approach the car, it's just one more little thing that makes me smile.

Plus, it rhymes.

Obviously I get the first part, but what's the significance of the 4083 part of it?

Hahaha, now you get it.

These gears, coupled with the RJM pedal and the STS, makes this car so-o-o much fun to drive. It's a big, freaking toy. Makes me feel like a 40 year old kid again, LOL.

Glad you got the plates installed, too bad it wasn't as simple as it should have been.

You always put a lot of thought into your updates and the plate is no exception, told you I could keep a secret

Thanks, Mr. B.

Next update is just a set of rear tires. Going with the new Conti Sports this time, instead of the Michelins. The next big mod won't be until Spring 2018, when I'm planning on getting it dyno-tuned. So there's plenty of time for more thought and research about that.

2019... I'm thinking of Z1 two-piece rotors and getting my calipers painted.
