Nitrous Build Begins ....(Finally)
So after a lot of research I am finally ready to start putting this thing together .. One of the most difficult things I had to do was research proper gauges and nitrous control unit ... I will be molding a GlowShift universal triple gauge pod to my drivers side pillar.. It was 20.00 shipped on Ebay. I will be wrapping both driver and passenger pillars in perforated leather to have a much cleaner look and match my interior.. Here is the 3 gauges I chose......
Innovate DB series A/F Wideband gauge (Blue Digital)
DB Gauges: Air Fuel Ratio Guage
AutoMeter Cobalt Series....(Blue Digital) Nitrous Pressure Gauge and Fuel Pressure Gauge............
AutoMeter Cobalt Digital Series Gauge
For the Nitrous controller I went with Harris Speed Works MicroEdge Controller......
Harris Speed Works*
*Nitrous Controllers*
*Nitrous Window Switches & Timing Controllers*
*The MicroEdge Nitrous Controller
This will be installed by me starting on Wed.. I have everything here and will have the daunting task of molding and wrapping my pillars and the fun of installing gauges and the Nitrous controller .. After that I will be installing the bottles and routing everything .. Should be fun .. I think ????????????????? Also, could be a major fail...

I thought about it and it's one of those things that I would have to deal with if it did ... Hopefully not ...
NICE!
Good luck man! Curious though - you've done all the research, so I'm only asking for your opinion. Will you (honestly) be able to run nitrous safely? ie no detonation issues, no internal engine issues, etc.? is it any more detrimental to the engine than say, high revs (under load).

So Wed. has come and gone ... I have been busy with some other things . Started the molding of my gauge pod to my driver side pillar. Bought some bondo and plastic weld from home depot . I placed my universal gauge pod on my pillar to find the location I liked best .. Took the pillar off and started taking all fabric off of it .. Next I placed the gauge pod on the pillar again and took my heat gun and started to warm up the plastic of the gauge pod to conform to the pillar. I than scuffed the areas of the pod and pillar that would have contact and
glued them together . I put screws in 4 different locations to get a nice bond between the two... Let set for 24hr and trimmed all the excess gauge pod with a dremel ... Next is the Bondo !!!!!!!!!
