It's like any other aftermarket parts. If something happens relating to your suspension and it is found to be a direct result of you using coilovers (very unlikely) then, they can refuse to replace a piece that otherwise would be covered by the warranty. If your engine blew up after you installed coils, they would fix your car under warranty.
