If we're just dropped on Eibachs, do the G35 fronts have enough camber adjustment to bring it back to OEM?

Per post #94, you need to call SPC and ask for Jeff in R&D and ask for a set of bumpstops for the G37 front a-arm. The part number is 721359 and a picture is in post #102.

Yes, I am on Eibach and while I have not had an alignment yet, I measured the camber using the method Finagle69 described in his DIY. I calculate that you get about 1.3 degrees of adjustment on the G35 arm. I was -1.3 and -1.7 on Eibach Pro-kit with stock arm after spring install. Upper factory spec is -1.17 degrees. So yes, you have plenty of room to get back into spec and then some. Again, I expect SPC to issue official specs once formal alignments are done.

So if are on Eibach pro-kit, you have two choices:

1) Run the G37 a-arm with bumpstops. You will hit the bumpstops once in a while. I do not know how many bumpstops you have to run to prevent metal-to-metal contact. I did see one post where someone said they needed 3 per side, but I don't know their exact set-up. Maybe they will post up their info again.

2) Run the G35 a-arm without bumpstops. I am set at -0.5 degrees caster and at max camber setting on one side of the car and I hit the limit of the suspension before any metal to metal contact. You got to work hard to hit the limits of the suspension! I am keeping the G35 arms on my car.

Shoot...not sure which route I want to go. I think Lyndon said he was about a -2.0 after the prokits when I talked to him. Granted the G35 arms will bring it within spec with the OEM ratings...but for $399 for just the front kits, I want it to be perfect. I'm going to wait and see what SPC says. Thanks for the input.

I agree with you. I would wait on the official position unless I already had the G37 arms installed and then I would put in bumpstops just to get the metal-to-metal problem eliminated if needed.

Sorry I haven't posted in here much lately. I was busy driving 650 miles for work on Thursday and Friday, then preparing for a local car show late Friday night with the show being about 75 miles away on Saturday.

Here are a couple of pics taken at the show that illustrate my camber at *near* maximum positive adjustment. (near meaning about a milimeter from max).

Here's one with the GTR in full just for fun.

Looks good! Someone does not look happy that you took their picture.

LOL, the funny thing is, I told her I'd be taking some pictures, and if she saw the camera, to stay still for the three pictures in succession. You'd figure if she knew, she'd put her game face on!

car looks good. didn't even notice your girl in the car even looking 3 seperate times until hampstersG pointed it out.

I have nothing positive to contribute to this thread. I will sit tight and order the front kit when the problem is solved, since after alignment the front is out of spec and rear is fine. Too bad not other way around

I have posted all I know. I have not heard from Jeff at SPC since 4/8. I sent him an email just now to see if they had anything "official" they wanted to post up.
