Foglights Will Not Turn On

Hey guys,

I recently hooked up my IPL bumper foglights with HID fogs and also hooked up the foglights in my OEM headlights with HID too. They worked when I turn them on individually but the other day I turned them both on at the same time now both of them will not turn on.

I checked some fuses under the hood and driver's interior but none of which were blown. IPL bumper foglights is ran through a relay harness with a switch.

Everything in my car works fine except for these foglights. Anyone ever tried something like me and this happened?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How did you wire them up? Do you have any pictures I can look at for reference?

Well the foglights in the existing headlights are wired through the stock wiring. The ones on the bottom in the bumper is wired through a relay harness going to the battery with a fuse. It goes into a switch inside my car to allow me to turn it on and off.

I apologize for I do not have pictures. I wired the bottoms fogs as shown in this thread. https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-installations-modifications/230543-2011-non-sport-fogs-on-2008-2010-sport-bumper.html

I found the 15A fuse for foglights that's inside the headlights and it was blown. I replaced it with another 15A and it blew too. Switched a 20A fuse in there and it works fine. Is it safe to use the 20A fuse in place of the 15A? Or should I invest in another relay harness so I don't risk melting the stock wiring?

35w should be fine, but I would upgrade your ballast and relay. Just to be safe.
