Parking lights not coming on

all lights turn on except parking lights. Taillights, license plate , turn signal, headlights, foglights, interior lights all functioning except parking lights. Any ideas? Is there a fuse? Should i disconnect battery to reset anything?

Maybe the bulbs are dead. Just a guess. Might be worth checking.

Check the fuse first. Are the parking light not coming on or the fog lights? Because fog lights do not come on with high beams.

there's a fuse box next to your battery housing. you gotta undo a few clips and pull the panel out and you'll see the rectangle fuse box. look for your parking light fuse and see if it's burn out. best to test it with a test light

the foglights work fine... Its just the parking lights.... I checked the rectangular fuse box by the battery, but I saw no fuse for parking light , am I checking the wrong fuse box? ... I havent checked the actual bulbs , I doubt that both bulbs would die at the sametime but I'll double check in a few hours when I get home.

The front parking lamps are controlled by one fuse that's separated from the rear lamps so this sounds like your problem. It's Fuse 52 in the IPDM E/R module located next to the battery between the battery and the passenger fender. You need to unclip it from the body to pull it up and remove the cover. Once removed, locate Fuse 52 and verify that it's blown. Here's the IPDM E/R diagram. The red circle was for a different issue and highlights Fuse 53. The fuse just above that one should be Fuse 52.

Now the question is why did it blow? If you were doing any work on that circuit you likely shorted it. Otherwise if you didn't touch anything near the front headlight harness you may need to have it looked at by the dealer to find out why the fuse blew and will likely blow again.

Great. If it blows again you'll likely need to take a look at the HID Fogs and whether the tap into the parking lamp circuit has a problem like a bare contact or maybe the HID relay is the problem.
