Recently it started flickering again, sure enough, the other LED is doing the same thing. At least it's consistent.
Fixed it today, second time it's much faster.

Thanks again for this thread, I had to go look which screws to undo.

I just used a junkyard clock, but this helped me take everything apart

Yep, that'll be the next step if the sucker fails again. Admittedly my repairs aren't perfect, but as long as it works, I'm happy.

Does anyone know if all or most infiniti dash clocks are interchangable? It appears they used the same clock across multiple vehicles, so I could theoretically use a clock from say, an m37 or Q40, or G35, etc?

If the part number is the same, it's the same clock. As far as M vs G vs Q, mmm dunno.

Outside of the housing being different across some models, the backlighting might also be different. Didn't the M/G35 use that hideous orange backlighting?

Easier to just find a cheap junkyard unit and call it a day. Or, if you have soldering skills, repair yours.
