Beyond Frustrated: Backup Camera not working

I know this has been dormant for a while but I'll give it a shot. My backup camera died too. 2010 G X sedan, no NAV. checked the harness under the trunk and the red Wire is cut. I joined the wire again and the camera works again but the picture is not as clear as it used to be.
My question:
What gauge is the red wire if anyone knows so that I can do it properly?

Hey all,
I have a 2010 g37x sedan (non-nav), with a 12" sub installed in the trunk.
Anyone ever hear of it not being good (for speakers or stock sub) to have the stock sub kicking simultaneously with the aftermarket sub? I'm not sure if its true, but i heard that you risk blowing the factory sub and/or speakers if the stock system's bass is turned up on the dash setting while running a sub at the same time.

Same issue here, reverse lights work, self diagnosis is all green, it only stopped working after putting a new battery in. No guide lines, only a black screen and the warning pops up for a split second. Any thoughts?
