Quick / Simple boost to stock (non Bose) Stereo 2012

Hey gang.

First post on MyG37. I imagine this has been asked before in some capacity, but the search wasn't getting me the exact info I'm looking for...

Getting back to the subject. I would like to know if there was a quick and easy way to improve on the stock stereo system in a '12 sedan (non Bose, non Nav)? I'm not looking to go crazy here, and would just like to slightly amplify the stock stereo with this compact 45x4 amplifier from Alpine...

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

What would be some of the resident car audio guru's take on going this route? Is it even possible to use in conjunction with the stock receiver? If so, would the improvement be noticeable? would I need a Line-out converter?

Thanks in advance for the help! You guys rock!
