Yeah -- the new cable (1BA0B) did NOT work -- please do not buy this folks unless the service parts guy will let you return it or you're ok with ebay-ing it.

Too bad -- now I'll have two cables likely that won't work.

Not sure if people have updated operating systems in their G's that allow the Brandmotion to work -- or perhaps there are newer versions of the brandmotion - but guess what -- I'm back to Scosche, and almost happy to be full circle with this.

Will definitely update if I find that the ZT50A works .. doubt it will. Oh, and my iPhone is updated .. not much more I can say about that.. it's updated. And I don't even get that message "Charging not supported by this device" --

haha...I gave up as well. I'm still baffled as to why it'll work with other cars and won't work with mine. I'll attend a G37 meet in my area and try the connections on other cars and see how it goes.
