Be careful of what you do here. Do the wrong thing and your system will be FUBAR until the dealer can fix it.

Unfortunately you cannot listen to the radio while doing it.
The way to this is to park, have the radio off, press down and hold the Settings button while turning the Volume **** back and forth very very fast. And a different menu appears on the screen.
Which buttons do you press after it goes into the diagnostic screen? How does it revert back to normal?

you can mess with the audio stuff and some other electrical things and I think if you don't know what you are doing it can put them in a mode that only the dealer can turn off

Used it yesterday for the back up camera when driving, its only thing you can do thats "meaningful". Its pretty cool. The novelty wears off pretty quickly though but its worth fooling around with.

Disable features, make things "go away" etc. The dealer is the only way to restore them. So far, everyone I know that "screwed it up" pretty much tells the dealer it disappeared on its own, and the dealer just fixes it under warranty, since it's not a common issue, and the symptoms are very obvious.

Ultimately I suppose that's way better than the alternative!

Is there a setting to make the xm bands go away. My trial ended and I don't care to renew it.
