Cool feature, I love how the new accords have side cameras so when you turn your indicator on, it shows that side of the car and the cars on the lane so you can know it's safe to turn and avoid blind spots. This is more a nifty feature novelty > usefulness, but pretty cool to be able to do that

They should program the camera to have a sensor, and when it feels movement it invokes it. This way anyone who backs into your car while its turned off would be recorded, including their license plate.

Lol I knew after I Re-read my post people wouldn't understand what U was referring too.

The backup camera on 24/7 is Novelty

The side cameras are god save and protect against accidents and blind spots, those are far from novelty, and very good feature!

"They" that you speak of is us, we are the aftermarket modding community, if you find that feature that useful you should research n see if anyone wants to try the project =D

I have a Nav-TV box to bypass the nav and display whatever I want, it also has a input for a camera, I can hook it up and have the camera on record somehow 24/7 and it will just record the rear in the background but too much work and money for such a small feature

Maybe there's a reason these options are "hidden".

Bumping this old thread with a what I hope is a new discovery I stumbled across. I am sure there are more hidden menu's out there we don't know about. Found this one today. Same idea but you hold both the back buttons on the console and roll the volume **** to the left for a while then back to the right (not exactly sure of the combo but that's what seems to work).
