This might be a dumb question, but does turning up the bass on the headunit affect the amount of bass on an aftermarket sub/amp that is taking its signal from wires before the bose stock amp (or does it only affect the stock stereo components)?...Is the aftermarket sub bass level strictly affected by the aftermarket amp that its connected to?

I'm trying to determine if I should add a remote bass **** in my list to go with the 10W6v2 and 500/1v2.
