Bluetooth Speakerphone Menu Problem

Does anyone know whether it is possible to make the menu system more efficient by eliminating all of the voice prompts? For example, when I hit the Phone button on my steering wheel, the Infiniti lady begins prompting me to make a selection of commands. Rather than listening to everything, I have to hit the Phone button again before saying, "Call Billy Bob". I want to just hit the Phone button once, rather than having to hit it again to interrupt her.

Sorry if this is already addressed in another thread, I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Yup, somewhere in the onscreen settings there is an option for "alternate voice command".

I have that selected.

I click the phone icon and the onscreen menu comes up but it waits for ME to say "phone, nav, etc."

Its much nicer.
