Sweet! I have driven the Autobahn and Autostrada and must say the Italians will drive at unreal speeds in weather that is silly. They live to die around the next corner, I swear. The Germans are just fast and smart. I didn't know you could do the Euro delivery on a lease, but that sounds like a blast. Enjoy that thing

Yea, the whole ED experience was seriously almost enough to make me go back and get another one. Its THAT good. And now that they have the BMW Welt, the experience is just that much better. Once you get a car that way, its hard to get one any other way. You know what they say about going black. Well, once you go ED, its the same thing. With the G I'm just going to go down to the local dealer and pick it up and drive it 70mph home. How boring...

My tentative plan is to go back and get another one in 2012 when the 3's are redesigned. I tend to get bored with things which is why leasing is nice and part of the reason I'm coming back to Infiniti. Keeps things fresh.

Yea, see my above post. The performance is great and it is 200lbs lighter. Driving position is much different. With the G you are much more down in and enveloped by the car. I think maybe its the high window sills that give you that sensation. The interior is a bit spartan in comparison. Their upgraded iDrive (which isn't nearly as bad as people who have never used it claim it to be) for 2009 has some wonderful new features including the ability to send address from Google Maps from your computer to your car so that when you get in you just click on the address and go.

Yes, I think mine’s acting up too. Yesterday on the freeway it told me to cut off a black Bimmer on the right.

Don't worry, it would have escaped since our bimmer's are faster.

But what if your nav instructed you to cut me off in return? We could have a navigation induced road rage incident. I can hear your explanation to the cop now, “But officer, his nav acted first, so it’s his nav’s fault.” What a traffic court case than would make!

No, don't worry about me cutting you off - my nav would have taken me the long way around you.
