Bluetooth Compatibility with Nokia E71 Smartphone

Guys my basic Nokia flip phone, 6555, which was compatible with the G's Bluetooth just got dropped in water on a drunken night and fried.

I hate the Infiniti Bluetooth Compatibility site since it seems way more phones would be compatible than what's listed.

I am assuming manufacturers use pretty similar technology for their Bluetooth across their whole product line anyway.

Can any1 confirm with me that the Nokia E71 is Bluetooth Compatible?

Thanks!

it is compatible in the sense that you can use it as a headset, otherwise, no it will not sync

Ehh got the iPhone 3g anyway and frankly my main complaint is the Bluetooth echo the person Im talking to has to strain to understand me with the echo. And when I accept calls the music plays for another 1 second and the nav agreement pops up for a second I think - its a lil bizarre - i hope they make a software update that fixes it - I hope...

Hmm I've never had the Echo problem with my 2g iPhone, but I have yet to try my 3g, while it is plugged into the car.

Does it echo regardless of if it's plugged in or not?
