iPod interface cable part number?

Sadly, my G37 shipped without the iPod interface cable. I have the port in my armrest, just no cable.

I went to the dealer and was told that they could not locate a part number on this item, therefore, I unfortunately would not be able to order it.

Does anyone know where I can locate one? I'm not referring to the RCA jacks, I'm talking about the "Real" iPod port cable.

TIA

talk to your sales rep. If it didn't come with the cable, they should pull one off of of a car they have in stock. If he doesn't agree, ask for the sales/general manager.

Did they charge you less money when you bought the car because the cable was missing? I doubt it.

You paid for it. Ask them for the District Manager's contact information and tell them you will take up the issue with them. I'm sure they will come up with that part number (and probably the part itself) pretty quickly.

Well, the problem is that the car wasn't brand new. It was used. I ordered it and had it shipped from a Honda dealership in Chicago to NY. The previous owner must have held onto the cable. Now that the salesman has his money, he wants nothing to do with the car.

I just gotta keep hunting for this item number. It must exist.

If you still don't have the P/n by the 16th I will get the parts manager to look it up when I go in to get my muffler replaced.

Check the TSB section. There is a TSB out on the old IPod cable and I believe there is a part number in the TSB for the new IPod cable.
