Another vote for the Proxes4. I ran Pirelli P-Zero Neros as "winter tires" and really liked them.

But you live in NY and have a AWD car. Mount snow tires on your stock wheels and pick up a set of summer tires for the half of the year or so that doesn't have crappy weather.

Sigh I guess I'll replace them soon. I rather be safe than sorry. Just spent a ton on the car. Gotta save for the tires now. Waiting for a rebate from Continental.

Safety is the prime concern, but you'll also enjoy your car a lot more w/ tires that are a much better match for the vehicle.

I am currently running Pirelli P Nero Zero A/S tires on my X sedan and I am happy with them. Perfect balance between price, road noise, handling and weather perfomance.

They are crap. Compared to goodyear eagle gator back z rated tires( not all season) 1000x better.
A v rated tire that is noisy /wears to quick/ poor handling in wet or dry.
When I had the loaners, I notice the very sloppy handling.
About is poor as you can get. My juke has them, they are crap.

If I wasn't getting a new set of rubber for the evo, they would be in the trash.

^^ Agreed. They're OEM tires because mfg's get 'em super cheap. If they're on any future car I buy, they're off before the car leaves the lot or no sale.

At least the Potenzas on the Sport models have some grip, those RS-As have scary lack of traction
