20" wheels and torch

I am thinking about upgrading to the 20" axis shines. My question is do ya'll think that by going to this wheels will it decrease the torque that I am currently getting from my stock wheels? Thanks in advance.

Below are the wheels.

You'll lose acceleration for sure. Every pound of angular weight is roughly 40ish pounds of dead weight in the car.

Yes you will definitely lose acceleration. Every pound of unsprung weight added is like adding 10 lbs to your car which relates to about 1 HP. If you want better transfer of power to the ground then go with a forged or flow formed wheel.

Physics says hell yes. More weight. Weight placed further from the axis or rotation. Requires more force to get it moving and keep it moving. It will decrease your torch. And your torque.

LOL, sorry for the misspelling. Ok thanks ya'll. This person wants to trade me those wheels for my stock ones. I was wanting to trade because I wanted a wheel more flushed. I guess I am better off just getting some spacers and keeping my stock wheels.

Those cast wheels are really heavy, Forged wheels are much lighter but not any one can afford a set of Volk, Rays, Work, ISS, or AG. You may want to look into flow formed wheel that BlueStickG recommended. Forgestar is not bad and their wheels are relatively light you can even choose the offset. Also, check the private sales for used light weight wheels.

Don't put 20s on unless you're going with a drop too. You'll regret the look instantly.

I'm sure both of y'all are right. I'll just get spacers, but I've been hearing horrible stories on the ichiba brand.

I had Ichibas w/ no issues whatsoever, haven't really heard of problems. B2Autodesigns sells several brands of spacers including their house brand and they get good reviews. Mention this site and ask for Charles for the best prices.
