question for all (or maybe just blnewt LOL)... was wondering if i could fit 19x10 +30 in the front wrapped in 245/40/19.
I'm on coils (not too low) with adjustable camber arms (-1.75) and should be able to make respective adjustments. I'm willing to go to around at most -2 camber and not any lower (sorry i dont currently have the measurement from fender to floor).

for reference, i'm currently on 19x9 +32 255/40/19 and i have a decent amount of to-the-fender clearance... ~10+mm. I worked out the numbers myself and I think the final setup might be a slight stretch. HA!

Hey new this forum, I just bought a 2010 g37x awd sedan. I'm looking to get some custom tires and rims on it. I don't have much knowledge of what will fit and what will not, but I know what I would like. So question is.. would lexani css-8 rims fit the specs are... 20" x 8.5", +15 to +45 Offsets, 5x105-130 Bolt Patterns, 74.1-110mm Hubs. If so do I need to do anything more specific to car? Don't want to be screwed by someone to install rims.

thanks

You'd have a net +10mm w/ the new wheel/offset and probably 3 or 4 mm inside w/ the 245s compared w/ 255s (a bit harder to predict since it's stretched). Should work but may need to roll the front fender edges, might contact the inner fender under deep compression.

You just listed a wide range of specs, to be specific you'll want +40 offset 74.1 hub (and you'll want an adapting spacer, should be sent w/ the rims) and a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, I'd also run 245/35/20 tires on those rims.

Hi everybody.
I have a 2012 g37S sedan 6spd (will be dropped as soon as coils come in).
I want to transfer the wheels from my Z and put them on the G.
The wheels are SSR SP3 SIZE: 19x9.5 (FRONT) 19X10.5 (REAR)
OFFSET: +25mm (FRONT) +18mm (REAR)
The current size tires on the rims are 245/40r19 and the rear are 285/35r19. Seeing that both cars have the same brakes bolt pattern etc i can only assume they might be pretty close in working from car to car. Will these rims work if i put 275/35r19 tires in the back ? can i keep the 245's in the front?. I don't want to rub at all when daily driving. Sorry I am a retard with the offset calculator. Thanks any help will be appreciated.

Those won't work on a sedan unless you go heavy on the camber, pull the fenders and run a more stretched tire. FWIW my rears are 10" +45 running 295s and I'm flush, the 10.5 +18 on 275s would extend out from mine another 33mm (or about 1.25"). Too bad though, those SSRs are nice rims for sure.

I've heard of rims being shaved on the mounting surface to give a higher negative offset, not sure if that's even an option w/ those wheels but may be worth looking into since those are high dollar wheels. Shouldn't have much trouble selling those on the Z board. G/L with whatever you decide.

Hi, Just picked up a 2012 G37 S Sedan a few weeks ago, looking to change the wheels on her:...

I will be lowered on Swift Springs and would like to avoid any spacers/rubbing issues.

Was looking at:

19x9.5 Front and 19x10.5 Rear

What offset should I get? I was recommended +35 from a shop and don't know if I would run into any issues and would value your input greatly.

Tires would be 245/45-19 and 275/40-19

TIA!!

I'd go +40 front and +45 rear. Since you're mildly dropped on Swifts the +35s would poke a bit, if you were lower on coils or deep drop springs the 35F 40 Rear would be OK.

Thanks so much for replying so quickly and no I ask a second question...

It appears as though the wheels that I want (57Xtreme) don't offer a +40 and +45 option as you suggested or at least my google-fu has not found someone selling it in those offsets but....

They come in +12, +22, +35, and +43

Would my best bet be F: 19x9.5 +35 and R: 19x10.5 +43? or Just +43 all around.

Thanks again!

+43 is great for the back, the front inner fender edge isn't rolled flat like the back fender lip, so under hard compression the tire may rub that inner fender on rare occasions if you go w/ the +35 in front. If that's not a big deal go w/ +35, otherwise the +43 will be sunken in a bit but you won't have any issues. Click on "my garage" for pics of my G, the front is a +40 on 8.5" running 245 so you'll get the idea of a flush back but more room in front FWIW.

Hey guys I have a 2010 G37xS Sedan. I am so close to buying a set of wheels, I checked the offset on the tire calculator and it is different by 0.55%. But I am not sure if I calculated it correctly. I Put the front tire size on the "Current" Column. And I put the rear on the bottom column to compare both of them.
**front 19"x8.5" rears 19"x10" offset +35 bolt pattern 5x114.3
**Tires Continental Conti Sport Contact 3 Front 235/35 R19,rears 255/35R19 stretched a bit to fit wide rims

^ the current column you would leave the OEM size of the wheel youre trying to compare. column 2 u put the wheel/tire size youre thinking of upgrading to. How you did it, it sounds like you are comparing your front tire to your rear tire.

Also, thinking of working this out:
19x9.5 +25 with 245/40/19
19x11 +43 with 285/35/19

can the g accomodate a 11" wheel?? 370z and g35s have been able to do this set up and I know people have fit 295 and 305 tires on the g37. I've compared the dimensions to other 10.5 wheel set ups and I think its do able but have absolutely no idea how much room is on the inside of the wheel well. =X poke/heavy camber/fender pulling is not an option.

No need to run stretched unless that's the look you're after, your diameters will be way off for an AWD, you'll be over +2% variance on rolling diameter which will likely set the AWD light going faster than 70 mph and overheat your transfer case. Running stretched is also hard to calculate rolling diameter since the stretch will alter the diameter somewhat. The wheels and offsets are good, just need to run 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rear for a almost perfect variance of only -0.37%
