About to pick up some MRR Gt1s

Hey guys,

I am about ready to purchase some MRR GT1s for my 2008 G37 Coupe, and I have a couple of questions, as the tire sizes and offsets make me crazy. First of all, I will be dropping the car with an eibach spring kit, and I would like an aggressive look to the car after I add the aftermarket tires and rims.

I think I would like 20 inch GT1s, but I have no clue about the offsets. It looks like the options I have for the front are 20x8.5 with either 20mm, 35mm, 25mm, 30mm, or 40mm offsets.

For the rear, 20x10 with either 43mm, 35mm, 40mm, or 45mm offset.

In addition, would the correct tires be 245/35/20 and 275/30/20?

Thanks in advance guys!

you can go 20x8.5 + 20 for the front and 20x10 + 35 for the rear... that would sit nicely...

those sizes for the tires are correct... you can also go 255/35/20 for the front and 285/30/20 for the rears... you might have to trim down the rear bumper bracket a bit which is no biggie...

search around in the forum so you can see the stance of your what your fellow members in the forum are running...

Dont think G37Sam would mind, but take a look at his stance on here...
https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...ot-me-20s.html

He is on 20x9 + 20 in the front and 20x10 + 35 in the rears... 255/35/20 and 285/30/20... think he had to do a little rear bracket trimming as well...

i had to do some trimming myself and im on 19x10 + 35 on 285/35/19

Thanks so much for the response. That is exactly the type of help I needed! G37Sam's sit exactly the way I am looking for mine to fit.

That's perfect. I like the look of the black rims on the white G as well. My G is white, and I was going to get hypersilver GT1s, but now I am wondering if I should go with black...

Good advice was given. Personally I would still run a 275 rear just because I like a very slight stretch instead of a flat sidewall. More traction with a 285 though.
