So I picked up a 2012 G37x last week after my the car I had spent the last 2 years working on was totaled in an accident


Anyway I have read through the Infiniti manual but I can't seem to find an answer to this question so I was hoping someone on here could help.


When using the navigation is it possible to have the music's volume go to 0 when there is a voice direction instead of the music just being lowered?


I have hearing problems so I am having trouble hearing the voice directions when they come on because it doesn't lower my music's volume enough.

When you hear the nav voice, turn up the volume with the ****. It is a separate level than the radio.

 

I know about that. I was asking if there is a way that the Nav does it automatically.

 

I have never read about music being silenced completely during NAV prompts/speech.

I just turn my NAV volume to almost full blast when I have my music up loud. (which is almost always).

Would be a nice feature if it was possible though.
