OEM Cluster, Digital Cluster, or something else?

I now own a 2009 G37x coupe. I love it. I am slowly fixing its small problems. My cluster has a few burned-out lights. The videos showing how you fix it are very informative and seem doable for even a newbie like me.

HOWEVER...

What are the other options?

Are there any "affordable" digital displays?

If you have soldering skills replacing the LED's will be your best bet as you retain the original cluster with the original odometer reading. If you do NOT have soldering skills then your only feasible option is to either send your cluster out to a repair service or swap clusters from a junkyard donor. The only issue with the junkyard (used) cluster will be the mileage discrepancy which may/ may not be a issue for you should you decide to sell the car later on down the road as the discrepancy will have to be reported.

There are no aftermarket gauge cluster options for the G37. There was one digital cluster (for Nissan) NOT specific to the G37 from Carobotor (see thread) but too overpriced even if it did work in the G.

A Q50/60 cluster swap is out of the question... been there/ tried that/ no dice. The 370z cluster will work with limited functionality but then again, mileage discrepancy plus getting it to fit in the G's instrument panel makes that iffy, IMO.
